VMI OFFERS SELF-PROPELLED UNITS WITH OPTIONAL CABLE DRIVE.  BY FLIPPING ONE SWITCH AND A LEVER YOU ARE ABLE TO SWITCH BETWEEN VMI'S TWIN AUGER DRIVE SYSTEM AND CABLE PROPULSION.  THE TWIN AUGER DRIVE SYSTEM IS FULLY REMOVABLE ALLOWING THE ABILITY TO SHORTEN THE DREDGE FOR TRANSPORTATION OR OPERATE SOLELY BY CABLE IN A SHORTENED CONFIGURATION IF NEEDED.

This dredge features the ability to switch between the standard cable drive or self propulsion (2-speed twin auger drive system) for different dredging applications. The MD-822-SP utilizes joystick controls and a full color display with video and data logging capability for operator efficiency.
